Grade Scale: Up to M3; Location: Karachi; Experience: Minimum ten (10) years of relevant banking experience across Corporate, Commercial, SME, and FI segments.
• Good background in credit analysis, structuring, transaction management, and business development.
• Established experience creating and carrying out strategy, involving stakeholders, and managing relationships.
• Export Credit Insurance and Exposure to transactions backed by ECA.
• Proficient in Export Finance Schemes (EFS) including SBP refinance programs and export-oriented credit facilities.
• Expertise in international trade, trade finance, lending, and ideally credit insurance.
• Proven leadership with talent development, team management, and coaching experience. Excellent negotiating, analytical, and communication abilities.
Key Accountability: Lead and manage regional teams toward business objectives and advancing Pak EXIM’s mission.
• Research and analysis will help you spot market possibilities and give senior management practical insights.
• Oversee and expand a portfolio of FI, SME, Corporate, and Commercial clients, guaranteeing flawless transaction execution and onboarding. In accordance with strategy, risk appetite, and capital allocation, promote Pak EXIM’s Credit Insurance, Guarantees, Lending products, and Export Finance Schemes.
• Lead due diligence, risk analyses, financial modelling, trade finance structuring, foster client and FI connections, and expand the company.
• Coordinating regional operations with strategic objectives, increasing contact with Corporate, SME, and FI partners.
• Establish contacts with trade organisations, exporters’ associations, and chambers to spot export obstacles and advance the solutions provided by Pak EXIM.
• To help with product and credit decisions, use sophisticated financial analysis, prediction, and business development skills.
• Draw on trade finance, international trade, ECA-related transactions, and export-oriented finance structures.
• Grow, guide, and train regional talent, promoting a high-performance culture.
• Make sure there is good communication and coordination with both internal and external parties. • As part of Pak EXIM’s founding leadership team, show ownership, initiative, and a focus on results. • Any additional responsibility assigned by line management.
• Strong proficiency in new product due diligence, including market needs assessment, risk evaluation, financial and regulatory consequences analysis, and support for the development and introduction of new trade finance, credit insurance, and export-related goods in accordance with Pak EXIM’s mission.
• Thorough knowledge of the trade finance scene and SBP Prudential Regulations, Export Finance Schemes (EFS), and credit insurance frameworks.
• Strong market ties inside the Corporate, SME, and FI sectors.
• Sophisticated analytical capabilities include financial modelling and thorough evaluations.
• Strong networking and relationship-building capabilities across FI, Corporate, and SME clients.
• Capacity to operate autonomously, establish direction, and produce in demanding or changing circumstances.
• Proactive collaborative team member.
• Excellent knowledge of trade-related insurance and lending products, including non-funded and funded export credit solutions.
• Preparation of industry reports, information memorandums, financing programmes, and structured trade solutions; exposure to Credit Risk participation and On‑Lending structures is an added advantage.
• Proven track record of strategic formulation and execution in the relevant field.
• Outstanding written and oral communication ability.
Master’s degree in finance, Business Administration, or another Business-related discipline from a Higher Education Commission (H.E.C.) acknowledged institution. Having certifications like CFA and FRM will be advantageous.
